Pacifist
I have a pacifist friend who says that he can, that a dog acting against an intruder is just doing what dogs do, and nature can't be violent or aggressive, it just 'is'. In my view, everyone knows what a dog will do to an intruder, and if you put a dog in a situation where it could act violently against an intruder, you are complicit with that. Answer: Pacifism is opposition to war or violence as a means of settling disputes. Pacifists refuse, on moral or religious grounds, to bear arms or engage in any type of physical resistance. They believe that all disputes can and should be settled in peaceful, non-violent ways. Pacifists are usually conscientious objectors in times of war.
